Together with the Moscow government, we organized a patriotic action in honor of the Cossacks`
heroism in defense of Moscow in November 1941. The number of those, thanks to whom we live
is decreasing every year. This is an important tradition - to honour the memory of everyone who
was involved in those terrible battles in the Second World War.

Without any technics` support, armed only with daggers, swords and Molotov cocktails, 37 cossack
didn`t allow germans to cross Volokolamsk Highway...

Nearly 500 people from different parts of Moscow and Moscow region gathered together at Fedyukovo
village to honor the memory of those killed cossacks. The head of Sychev village, Alexey Nagorny visited
the official part of the event. Archpriest Andrei from Znamenskaya church in Moscow held a prayer service,
then all the guests laid flowers and wreaths.
