introduce residents and city guests to the original culture of the Cossacks; show the exclusivity of life, creativity and traditions of the Cossacks.

IDEA BEHIND FESTIVAL "COSSACK STANITSA MOSCOW"

is to strengthen inter-ethnic relations, tell the guests about the centuries-old Cossack culture that holds a unique position in Russian heritage. We decided to organize an unprecedented song flash mob: all participants and creative groups of the festival made the Consolidated Cossack Choir and sang simultaneously. This became a symbol of unity, national identity and continuity of generations.

ALMOST ALL COSSACK TROOPS OF RUSSIA

And representatives of  more than 30 regions arrived at Moscow.

National Artist Alexandra Permyakova, M.E. Pyatnitsky State Academic Russian Folk Choir, State Dance Ensemble "Cossacks of Russia", the Moscow Cossack Choir, the winner of the show "VOICE. CHILDREN" Danila Pluzhnikov all performed at the festival.

All guests participated in different workshops: carving, beading, embroidery, knitting, bast and toy handicrafts; saw Cossack kurens and visited the fair. The festival culminated in theatrical performances with stunts horseback riders.
